Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up & Transfer to a booked Hotel in Arusha

Early arrival at the Rushaga Airport and meet our driver guide for pick up, then be transferred to the pre-booked hotel in Arusha. Have a relaxed evening and organize yourself for tomorrow’s road trip to the Serengeti.

Day 2: Arusha –Serengeti to check in a safari lodge

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and meet your driver for pick up and transfer to the Northern circuit –to visit Serengeti National Park. Expect to spend about 6 hours on the road to reach Serengeti, home to the Big 5, giraffes, zebras, antelopes including wildebeests, and over 500 bird species. Check in at your safari lodge/camp and enjoy lunch. You may have a late afternoon game drive until evening to search for Serengeti’s wildlife or simply spend the entire evening relaxing.

Day 3: A Full –Day with Serengeti wildlife

A full day awaits you today and expect a thrilling guided game drive through the vibrant savanna plains of Serengeti National Park. Navigate via the extensive plains of Serengeti in a 4x4 safari car while you embark on the search for roaming Big 5 game, antelopes, birds, and many other mammals including cheetahs.

Depending on the season, you will also get a chance to witness the Great Migration which is best experienced from peak months (July to September). Today’s long day wildlife tour includes a lunch break in one of the tree shades and you continue with the afternoon game/wildlife viewing session.

Day 4: Second day on game viewing in Serengeti

Return to the plains of Serengeti National Park after a hearty breakfast, and today's session allows you to explore more wildlife. It is also possible to combine today’s game drives with a sunset hot air balloon experience.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro with en route tour at Olduvai Gorge

From Olduvai Gorge, continue to Ngorongoro Conservation Area/Crater while enjoying views of Maasai villages, and on arrival, check in at your selected lodge/camp.
