A full day awaits you to explore the wonders in Kampala. The Kampala city tour takes you complete immersion in this East Africa’s vibrant city, visit the iconic sites including the Kasubi tombs- where the royal kings from Buganda are buried, explore the Kabaka’s Lake –one of the biggest man-made Lakes in Africa. Expect to also explore the Namugongo Basilica Martyrs, get inspired and strengthened by faith. Late in the evening, you will conclude the day with energetic cultural entertainment where locals showcase the traditional and cultural dances.

After a delicious breakfast, you will exit the heart of Kampala for Jinja. Take the Kampala-Jinja route towards the East, and on a scenic drive, you have options for a stopover, including Ssezibwa Waterfalls or Mabira Forest. Later, proceed to Jinja to catch up with the experts and other adventure seekers for a briefing on the whitewater rafting excursion.

After getting briefed, proceed to conquer the tough rapids on the Source of the Nile River. Whitewater rafting is such an exciting adventure, and today, you have a half day excursion, then proceed to the hotel for relaxation.

Leave Jinja early, and you will head out to Sipi. At the Sipi area, expect to embark on a guided hiking excursion with an expert. Explore the three scenic waterfalls that make up the Sipi Waterfall series in their varying altitudes, ranging from 100m, 85 m, and 70m. After the guided hike, you will be transferred to the nearby lodge in the Sipi Area.

Have an early morning breakfast, and after, proceed to Mount Elgon for a short guided hike at the base of the volcano. On a guided hiking tour, expect to enjoy the inspirational melodies of the birds and also spot the diversity of primates.

In the afternoon, after you have enjoyed some lunch, proceed with the coffee tour. The coffee community tour introduces you to some of the coffee plantations. Observe as the expert unpacks the various steps/stages coffee growing takes from planting till it is ready for consumption.

After breakfast, you will be picked up and today, you will head to Pian Upe. But first, you will connect through Kumi, where you will pay a visit to the Nyero rock painting. The Nyero rock paintings are found 8km from the heart of Kumi town and hold exceptional artistic expressions of the past. After the short excursion, leave Nyero Rock paintings for Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and depart for a rewarding guided game drive. Explore the Pian Upe wildlife, including cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, Jackson’s hartebeest, topis, elands, leopards, giraffes, dik-dik, Kobs, and many species of birds. After the guided game drive in the morning, return to have lunch. In the afternoon, get back to search for more wildlife in the finest plains of Pian Upe.

Breakfast early morning and afterwards, check out of the accommodation. Drive safely to Kidepo Valley National Park in the Northeastern part of Uganda. Kidepo is Uganda’s 3rd biggest Park, and today, you have a chance to begin your exploration with a late afternoon game drive or relax in your respective lodges.

Kidepo Valley National Park boasts of large mammal population, accounting a population of about 85. On a guided game drive, expect to come across the bat-eared fox, zebras, lions, leopards, Kudus, elephants, leopards, and buffaloes, etc.

Start your morning with an exciting game drive through Kidepo’s Narus Valley.
