Detailed Itinerary
After having a heavy breakfast, meet your private driver guide to take you through a quick briefing and later, be directed to your safari vehicle. Depart from Entebbe city on a scenic city drive to Murchison Falls National Park, navigating along the tarmacked Kampala-Gulu Highway. The 6-7-hour’ drive journey to Murchison/Kabalega National Park comes with diverse opportunities en route, including purchasing the freshly harvested fruits in Luweero and rhino tracking at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Another en route stopover will be at Masindi, mainly to allow you to enjoy a leisurely lunch. After the lunch break, you will safely drive to Kichumbanyobo gate to clear with the officials and proceed on a stunning drive while viewing some of the freely roaming animals. A visit to the top of the Murchison Falls will be had for scenic photography and viewing, then you continue to the pre-booked game safari lodge to check in.

Set off for an enriching game drive early morning, navigating through the northern circuit of Murchison. In a 4x4 safari vehicle, look out for the diverse animals in this Park with expected sightings ranging from elephants, giraffes, leopards, lions, warthogs, Jackson’s hartebeests, Uganda Kobs, and oribis. Diverse savanna birds also await you to spot and, after, return to relax at the lodge.
Leave your lodge after lunch and in the afternoon, conclude your day with a boat/launch cruise. Start the recreational tour from the Paraa Jetty and navigate along the Victoria Nile for about 2 hours while sighting hippos, crocodiles, and many water birds. As you approach the base of the falls, set the camera for a memorable photo shoot, then return to enjoy dinner at the lodge.

Begin the bright day with a hefty breakfast and later, check out. Today, we bid farewell to Murchison and connect to Kibale, home to the highest concentrations of primates, including more than 1500 chimpanzees. 7-8 hours will be spent on the road to Kibale, but covers en route lunch at the beautiful Fort Portal Tourism City.

Visit to explore Kibale chimpanzee begins with registration and a briefing in the Kanyanchu Tourism Center. Leave Kanyanchu at around 8:00 am and be led by the ranger guide on the search for Kibale chimpanzees. Over 1500 chimpanzees live in the compact 795 sq. km Kibale Forest National Park, with more than 4 communities available for trekking. An hour is given to let you have a close observation of chimp behaviors, and then you can get back.
After lunch, transfer to Bigodi/Magombe Swamp for a guided walk. The guided swamp walk connects you deeper into the lush Bigodi wetland and also nearby Bigodi Village. Expect to meet more primates, birds, and other mammals that reside in Bigodi, and then also have a close interaction with the locals living in Bigodi Village. Explore some of the initiatives that have been launched in Bigodi to improve local livelihoods, and more.

Begin the day with a heavy breakfast and later join your colleagues for registration and briefing at the Buhoma sector. Leave Buhoma at around 8:00 am to officially begin the adventure search for gorillas, and this is likely to run for 2-6 hours. It involves navigating through the dense rainforest of Bwindi with a guide leading you through. On locating a group of gorillas, you have an hour to stay with them, taking pictures, and appreciating their unique behaviors plus body gesture displays. Return to enjoy the rest of the afternoon at the lodge, and after lunch, you will sum up the day with the Batwa cultural experience.

Pick up from the lodge, and today, you will take the short route, that is Bwindi-Kigali. Spend about 3-4 hours to connect to Kigali through Chanika or Katuna. Arrive early and catch up with the flight to Arusha, setting off from the Kigali International Airport (KGL).

Leave Arusha for Serengeti which is found in the Northern circuit. Getting to the Serengeti takes about 6 hours and once you have reached, continue to lodge for relaxation. Your day is flexible in that you may decide to embark on the afternoon game drive.
